Delete Account

You can delete your Cortex account and data at any time. This includes your EEG, heart and cognitive profile data. You can start deletion in two ways.

Delete from the app

Steps:

  • Open Cortex and sign in to your account
  • Go to the Profile or Settings section
  • Tap Delete account and confirm

Delete by email

If you cannot access the app, you can request deletion by writing from your account email address to [email protected]. We process the request within 30 days at the latest after verifying your identity.

Data that is deleted

When you delete your account, the following is permanently removed:

  • Your account and profile details
  • Your cognitive test results and cognitive profile
  • Your EEG brainwave data
  • Your heart rate and HRV records
  • Your training history, social activity and challenges

Data we keep

We keep only the limited records we are legally required to retain, for the period required by law, and then delete them. Anonymous, aggregated statistics that cannot be linked back to you may be kept.
