You need an account to use Cortex. You can sign in with Google, Apple or email. You are responsible for keeping your account details accurate and your account secure.

Cortex is currently free. There are no in-app purchases, subscriptions or ads. If paid features are added later, you will be told clearly before you use them.

Cortex is for personal development and cognitive training. It is not a medical device or a diagnostic or treatment tool. Test results, EEG and heart data are for information only and do not replace professional medical advice. If you have a health concern, consult your doctor.

Hardware such as an EEG headband or heart-rate sensor is optional and belongs to third-party manufacturers. The operation, accuracy and safety of these devices are the responsibility of the manufacturer. Bluetooth connection quality can affect measurement results.

You may not use Cortex for unlawful purposes, in ways that infringe others' rights, or to disrupt the security of the app. You may not reverse engineer the app or attempt unauthorized access. You may not abuse the social features or challenges.

The test results and cognitive profile you create are yours. We host this data tied to your account so the app can work. Information you share in social features may be visible to other users.

Cortex is provided as is. We do not guarantee that measurements and recommendations are always accurate or complete. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from your use of the app.

We may update these terms from time to time and announce important changes in the app. For questions, write to [email protected]. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey, and the courts of Manisa have jurisdiction over disputes.
